The Frankie Fund was established in 2003 in honor of Frankie VanSeveren.
Frankie was a 10-year-old rescued greyhound who was not only a patient but a friend. Frankie’s kind heart and gentle personality made him very easy to work with and love. Frankie helped countless pets and their families by becoming a blood donor. Not only did the VanSeverens allow Frankie to donate blood, but they also covered the costs of blood collection stating, “Any dog that needed a transfusion would already have many expenses.” The VanSeveren family’s selflessness and Frankie’s willingness to help others truly made an impact on us all.
