Hospital Policies

Thank you for choosing Kimberly Crest Veterinary Hospital and Specialty Services for your pet’s needs. When you schedule an appointment with us, we set aside time to provide you with the highest level of care. We understand unforeseen emergencies do happen; however, if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, we would appreciate you contacting our office as soon as possible, ideally 24 hours or more beforehand, so that we can help another in-need pet.

Please be advised of our new appointment cancellation/no-show policy, effective January 2022.

  • Any established client who fails to show or cancels/reschedules an appointment without 24-hour notice, twice within a 12-month period, will be required to leave a $75 deposit when scheduling additional appointments within that 12-month period. The $75 will be applied to the total balance if the appointment is kept but will be forfeited if the rescheduled appointment is not kept, or a cancellation/reschedule is not made within 24 hours.
  • Any referral client who fails to show or cancels/reschedules an appointment without 24-hour notice at any time will be required to leave a $100 deposit. The $100 will be applied to the total balance if the appointment is kept but will be forfeited if the rescheduled appointment is not kept or a cancellation/reschedules is not made within 24 hours.
  • Any client whether established or referral, who fails to show or cancels/reschedules a procedure without 24-hour notice may be required to pre-pay the costs of the procedure in full prior to rescheduling. The money will be applied to the total balance if the appointment is kept but will be forfeited if the rescheduled appointment is not kept or a cancellation/reschedule is not made within 24 hours.

We do understand and take into consideration that there may be times when emergencies and illness prevent you from contacting us within the 24-hour window. If you have questions about our policy or would like to speak with someone about your circumstances, please contact Kimberly Crest during regular business hours and ask to speak with our hospital manager. We require full payment at the time that services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, cash and personal checks with proper identification.

We also accept Care Credit. CareCredit is a credit card exclusive for healthcare services. With CareCredit, you will receive 6 months of no interest on balances greater than $200; extended payment plan options are available for larger balances.
